Volunteers

Volunteer Policy

Every family is expected to volunteer a minimum of 8 hours for each skater in the program. Volunteer opportunities will be made available through this website, various e-mails, and your team manager. If your player is on a traveling team, you will be asked to provide a $200 volunteer deposit check. This will be collected by your team manager at the team meeting at the beginning of the season. When your volunteer hours have been completed, your deposit will be returned. Failure to perform the required volunteer hours will result in the cashing of your $200 deposit check.

Volunteer Opportunities are widespread throughout the Hastings Hockey Association. The following is a sampling of the opportunities available. If you have any questions or comments regarding the volunteer program, please feel free to contact Kris Porrez at Volunteers@HastingsHockey.com.
